There's a lot of snow there now. As long as it stays relatively cool you should be all right. SC goes from very high to relatively low. As Tony says, you can at least take a lift down from the Mid Station. Which village will you be staying in?

Saharan sand indeed, picked up by the winds and then deposited again, this time in the Alps, sometimes in London. Be careful of bemused and rather angry snakes. :)

Use companies that still offer the service. They are out there, under the radar.
One more death from Avalanche in Montgenevre / Claviere yesterday. Don't' go off-piste right now folks, it's dangerous out there.
Montgenevre has a motorhome park with hookups on the edge of the village. Very popular with the Italians at the weekend.
Where to go?

Hi Manston,

Assuming next year is this season 2014.
If you're thinking of going independently it's best to check flight availability first, as most flights and trains are full or extremely expensive.

If you're thinking 2015 then once again getting the flights booked early is a priority, and if you're thinking Montgenevre then there isn't a great deal of larger accommodation so once again best to get in there early.
Briancon. Or is it Serre Che 1200?
