Recently I've noticed a few references to ice on pistes. Am wondering if people can share their experiences.

What is the biggest 'patch' of ice you have encountered?
How often do you encounter ice?
Where have you had your worst experience?

For the purpose of this thread, ice is not hard snow. If it's not solid enough to smash up and put in to a Gin & Tonic then it's not ice.
