Yeah I would but the first rule of good stalking is being able to keep up with the target.
- I suspect my chances are slim! Second rule is you gotta keep outta sight. - Just bought a bright pink jacket. Not good camo for snow based sneaking. Stealthy, smooth and quiet would probably be an advantage. - I give up! |

Thanks for all your help on this guys
Currently got a raging bad mouth, hence the post at stupid o'clock when everyone else is cwtched up in bed. Two pink pills plus an hour and it's still throbbing
Absolutely. The season pass is looking like a must. If only I lived closer to civilisation (and a proper airport) long weekends would be awesome, along with an extra pre-Christmas 'warm up'! DM you are leading me astray... love it!! 8)
I'd be well up for that but my OH would probably rather stick pins in his eyes than drive abroad, especially with snow around  Mind you, if we ever manage to buy a place out there he'll have to get used to the idea )
Cool. A popstar :-) Can I check it out on iPlayer? It would be good to put a face to the name too. (My god I hope that doesn't sound stalkerish  .)
:) :D :D |

Thanks for this Dave.
We're going over NY and then early Feb which both high season (I'm guessing that's what Hauptsaison is) so I guess we'd need to pay the higher rate for short passes. With the 14 day pass, do you know if you're able to split that 14 days over two split weeks, or do they have to be consecutive? As it is, the season pass already saves us 100 bucks over 2 x 6 days. That's a few beers and creamy hot chocs sorted! :-D |

 !!! (why does the idea smiley look like a bum?)
I wonder if I could pass for a senior?! Everyone looks the same mummified in ski gear anyway. Goggles... scarf over face... ta daaaa! 8) |

Thanks for that Finn  We got the Kitzbueler Alpen pass last year (just for Kitz itself). I thought I saw at the time that 'N' was included but had started to doubt myself and couldn't find a specific reference to it afterwards
Looking at the prices on those links, perhaps it's not worth getting the season pass. I'm seeing 520.00 for the big 'un, against 156.00 + 156.00 + 176.00 (or 140.00 if going to Kitzsteinhorn 17.05.10 onwards) making a max of 488.00. Perhaps I should look again when I'm more awake. Or just emigrate to Austria and be done with it... ) Yodelai-hoo. I wish. P.S. good shout on the K glacier. Piste map up top looks good for my confidence building mission for this season. |

I'm lucky enough to be planning 3 ski trips this season. The first two at a resort I will only identify as 'N' (I come in peace... play nicely .), and the third unknown at the moment although we're thinking of Hintertux so we can make it later in the year without worrying too much about snow cover.
Lift passes are obviously not cheap, and I'm trying to find out whether it's better VFM getting a season pass for the whole lot instead. From the bits of info I've pieced together it looks like it is worth it even if just for the first 2 hols, but not sure if this is the case, and if so who to buy it off. If anyone can help I'd be grateful. The wider the area it covers the better (not sure if including Hintertux is pushing it a bit far though), as we could use areas covered by the season pass to help decide on the 3rd hol. Cheers for any tips...... |
