I have a small iGOTU (from Maplins). I think I paid around £30 but that was in a sale. it's about 1/2 the size of a matchbox. google this... @trip i-gotu . it charges up from USB and lasts about 3 days between charges if you turn it off when not in use and set the data rate up sensibly.
it maps straight to google maps on your PC..i've just updated the software and it seems to have a new section that is aimed at sport so i'm interested to see what it does. It has a button you press when you take a photo and then you can add pictures to your trip at the exact location you took them. hope this is helpful :D |

I have insure&go. can't comment on what they're like if you claim, but the policy seems to cover what I think is relevant (eg £500 for hire equipment (just about covers the loss I guess), off-piste with guide/instructor)..this came in at under £100 for worldwide, annual, family with wiinter sports. I've no connection with them and to be honest I hope it's a complete waste of money.

Hi, I think the shared lift pass is perfectly feasable and I know a couple on a very tight budget who have done this
A sugestion, which I hope is useful, If the skiis were bagged and maybe skiboots also it might be easier to get on a lift... although this is going to be still tricky with a couple of youngsters in tow..not enough hands ! |
