hi dublin as brian said yes you can ski,but only if enougth snow ,checked the webcam looks ok,last year was bad like most areas.but they stil kept main runs open.

hi great little place linked with carona by chair lift no gondolas ,but only if conditions good,deux alpes owned by franco very good,check conditions and snow reports not always available,best to check by webcam link from this site,hotel cristallo also good but has lots of school parties check with owner alain speaks good english,worth popping in to have a drink and chat with if you go any way,try the cast iron single chairlift watch how you get on worth the lift pass money on its own.

i would rec kaprun/zell am see good young scene in zell plenty off bars etc good prices loads off varied ski/board slopes for all levels i went last year in b+b pension with direct ski for 129 slope side accomdation inc skis and boots onflight worth a look ,good luck

i would reccomend sunshine as you can all meet at centre and there are runs from their to suit all,and all chairlifts great place.

skier or snowboarder doesnt matter real problem is busy slopes,i try and book out off peak times but last year on a near empty slope i was hit by a skier ,like most things pure accident,i,m a skier but will one day try boarding ,friends an instructor and the boots are more comfy.

Tignes for guaranteed snow just got back after skiing knee deep powder,amazing place so much to ski also links with val,dsere ,to tired for nitelife but were told thers plenty if you havent been go.

i went 2 years ago april 4th for a week and sunshine had 20cm dump brilliant week lake louise was also fully open norquay closed,think this was last week for british tour operators ,but pretty sure resort open till end off month at least goto skibig3.com.
