tony glad your going to sc,if you would like more info,pop on to snowheads,on snow reports for serche there is a young lady snowangel who lives in chantermele and is a bundle of info and friendly advice ,and also plays at legrotte apres ski bar in abba band,worth visit.

carl all you need to know is theres been tons of snow last weekend,and pistes are in top condition,perhaps if you click on french thread for more info,i,m staying in le,boisse bottom off hill bus services very good,and should be all open on 1/12 i,ll be their and was last year great place,beer expensive,but thats france.

there is a free bus service,that goes all round kaprun,and drops you at the main ski bus stops,only asmall bus runs from very early to late so you wont have to walk further than 200yards.

nigel,great place ,very friendly,good skiing for all,one of my faves.tree lined in zell and wide open in kaprun,go to kaprun early for 2/3 hours and back to zell for lunch when i say early first gondola up.

mark,jan, am i right in thinking looking up the hill it is to the left of the race clock section.looks good ,as the gondola def needed help.

hi have been there,not bad,but try to get accomdation near to lifts centre off town sounds obvious,but bus,s were bit hit and miss,dont stop for lunch between 12to2 as the slopes empty while the locals lunch and big queues after,so stay high.

thanks dave,but was enquiring about the new chair lift on photos,any info?

davemac,how are the conditions normally,in early jan,as i am thinking of taking advantage of some of the good deals available.and is the chair lift in operation as i hav,nt been to niederau for a few years,thanks in advance.
