I guess you would have called his skis a bit last century as well, since competition mogul skis are narrow and rather long Not everyone wants to go out on piste carvers, clearly.

According to the new BASI Equipment update, there are new requirements for ISIA and ISTD technical/Coaching courses.

Skis to have a radius greater than 17m for men, and 15m for women.

I guess I've been ahead of the trend setters all the time.

Went into Lidls this afternoon, and they had sold out of ski watches early this morning. Not only that, all the Lidls in the area were sold out.

Did buy a ski bag, only takes skis up to 185, so too small for mine, but good to have as a spare.

Matalan also starting with a small range of ski clothing.

Rose, I haven't a clue what the wine bit of this thread is about. But your mum, she has a lot to do with skiing. Bear with me.

Not the village school do-good nutters that condemn the children's nativity play. They don't know any better, they are to be pitied, and one day, they will figure life out for themselves.

The House of Commons response is the one that should be of concern. One cannot be "slightly racist"

You are either racist, or not. I confess that it wasn't until a week prior to the US elections, and then, only when it was repeatedly pointed out by political "observers", that I recognised that Obama was a black person. It genuinely hadn't occurred to me. So many people in the UK have different colour of skins, and we are so used to that being the case, why would one think that this is an issue.

I think that your mother has a good case for libel
