I came accross this link on another forum (it isn't as good as this one Mr Admin)

£44/55 return seems like a pretty good deal:

It's limited to the French Tarentaise though!

Yes I forgot to mention that, but it will still be helpful to plenty of people and there other companies, similar to this, about. I'm not going to bother looking though as my skis are already where I'm going.

Buying Own Boots

If you are going to do it, (and I whole heartedly think you should), then do it properly. I'm sure if you let us know where you are, we can advise you on a good boot fitter. My advice is don't bank on a bargain when it comes to ski boots and fitting costs.

You will definitely for many many ski days after be happy that you did. Every time I put on my boots I am still amazed at how comfy they are...I've had these ones for a couple of years now! :D
Help Feb cancelled have to ski in March!

Here are some snowsure resorts:

Tignes, France
Saas Fee or Zermatt, Switzerland
Obergurgl or Kaprun Austria
Cervinia, Italy
Val Thorens, France

But you shouldn't really need to stick to the highest resorts for the third week in March, many many lower resorts will have plenty of snow too.

Still, I think, if you can leave it until the last minute, you might pick up a bargain and can go where the snow is.

This is an open forum - people of a sensitive disposition can view your posts!

Lol, It is an open forum indeed, it is also a SKI forum. Now let me give you a few clues as to what we were doing, we were in the french alps, it was mid winter so plenty of snow, we were not doing floristry, pottery or skittles. What we were doing begins with an 's' ends with 'ing' and has a k imbetween.

Sorry Dave, I was in wind up mode last night.

I don't know what came over me...Normally it's only folk from Norfolk that are on the receiving end of my taunts.
