Karen, If you ordered your skis from Skiset, you would have been offered insurance when you hired.

Assuming that you haven't taken out that insurance, consider if you will ski twice or more within a 12 month period. If so, the additional premium would cover you for all holidays. Errk, I am assuming you are taking out annual insurance.

So until this all happens, is it OK if I keep calling it Niederau then? Please?

Otherwise, I won't know where to get off the post bus on Friday.

Pavel. I did cancel a trip to Utah and go to Niederau! Only because our friends could not make Utah this year. Maybe next year!

And I can tell you that the original wearer of that Jacket can ski fast.

And if you do ever go to the Auhof ......wow, what could we do?

Now, a few more disclosures about our New Year visit.

I have said there were a coiuple of beginners in our group, so I was helping with organising ski hire and ski school. Rather red-faced, our friends appeared and said they had locked their credit cards in the safe! "Don't worry" says my frau, "Dave will pay for your ski school", Which indeed I did.

Half an hour later, our other friends informed us, they too had brought the "wrong" credit cards. You are ahead of me, I see. "Dave will pay"

Sometime after we returned home, I was trying to purchase an item online, and my card was rejected. When I phoned visa, they informed me they had stopped the card, due to unusual payment activity, abroad. Huh.

Another little gem, this time from a J2skier,...

" Saw Dave Mac ski today, very fast, you can't see daylight between his legs" (Why was she looking?)

To which came the reply....

"Yes, I saw Jan skiing tiday, also fast, you can see the Wilderkaiser range between his legs!"
