Legend my a**e. Caron, tomorrow, you are in the sh*t. I'm going to take you ohhhh so steep!!!!

I have to say it is a privelege to introduce people to Niederau, and Caron and her man are so receptive to our village. We visited the wee mountain chapel.

I am sure now that Caron will slowly get back on course to become a quality skier, but wow, she is so brave.

Although her man has limited skiing, he has sound technique, and skiied the mountain well. I am sure he will become a very good standard skier, the highest standard.

I was grateful to have several runs with admin Dave, wow, he is a good skier, - look out Pavel!

And then later, after dinner, Herbert played the Harp, we all sang, and ermm, everything is hunky dory.

Whheeeee :D :D :D
ski instructor show in Neiderau

Just to correct all the mis-information, Katcha, who is a lovely lady was last in the line of instructors coming down on the last run in the show. This involved passing through a line of ski sticks, the last one of which had fallen over.

Her ski skidded on the fallen stick, there was a very awkward fall, and Katcha broke her femur. It was a very bad injury. At the end of the display, the instructors spread out, coming from the dark into the light and so it was not obvious that someone was missing.

The show was virtually finished when she had the accident. The injury was dealt with in accordance with normal accident procedures.

No one should postulate on the future of skiers.

Another nice day, although I confess to being slightly wrecked, bue to a slight over-indulgence on my bd.

Met with caron-a and her man, and also mystery guest, who of course you knew was admin Dave.

Caron was so excited and so keen to get back to skiing. Of course she was nervous to start with, but started cautiously on the nursery slope. After mittagessen, we went up in the Gondola. Henceforth Caron had a couple of runs down the top T bar, and then had a rest while her man, Dave & I had a run down Tennladen.

We then escorted Caron back to the Gondola, and had a run down the Merkenwiess.

So we are all off to dinner tonight, and to listen to Herbert playing the harp. Jan wil be there with his family.

Caron is a very brave lady.
Klammer.

I'm going to bed now. Have some serious J2skiers to contend with in Niederau tomorrow

Another day in paradise, upped the run rate by starting earlier, but was slowed down by being plied with schnapps at various watering holes on the hill.

Also, was offered a beer and a snog behind the barn, if I took a couple of young ladies I met on the Gondola through a bit of off piste. Which of course I did, banishing all thoughts of their attempts at bribery.

Skiing is great in the morning, a bit hard pack in the afternoon.

Wheee. (I have calmed down a bit now)

Oh, I nearly forgot. I was just propositioned in the Bichlwirt, by a twenty something girl from Munich, would I like to go with her to the Cave Bar? Very nice looking lady.

It's certainly the best offer I've had today.

Sadly, I declined. It's the age problem, you see. I'm just not prepared to compromise my principles. Too old is too old.

And twenty something is too old.

No sweat about goggles caron, don't think Margreiters (Skiset) have them, but Blachfelders and Thalers do. And I'm sure Jan might have a spare pair.

It certainly looks as though you will need them

Rose,
Ise gave you the clue. Size of cabin baggage allowed is 550 x 400 x 200, but you will get away with slightly bigger. All your heavy gear, you know, hairdryer, ipod speakers, kettle, put-u-up bed, fridge, pet dog, just about everything can go in. There is a weight stipulation, but I seem to recall it is either "reasonable", or "20kgms", its on their website.

How on earth did you manage to get over 20kgm?
