Sorry, i don't mean to be argumentative, i dont agree with this situation at all but......

If you/your guys are hosting a group and are being paid for that days work in one way or another then the french law applies.
The client may not have paid for that service but the guide is getting a wage for that day. That is the point.

And as already pointed out. The fact that your service is 'included in the price' doesn't make it free. It is part of the price paid so you would need to reword statement or simply not mention it at all.

Someone who doesn't want the hosting doesn't pay any less. It's a service we provide for free. There are lots of things 'included' in the price, such as meals, wine, etc, but if someone doesn't want them, they don't pay less. And as we aren't receiving any form of remuneration for the service which we

volunteer we aren't breaking the law...

So by that logic your food and wine is free too.

I was just wondering if i buy my own flights and grab a cheap apartment can i ski, eat and drink with you guys for free? That will save me a bundle.

Sure, but you'd have to pay for our time to cook & clean for you...

and seeing as I don't suggest that breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner is free you'd have to pay for them too... but if you don't want it you don't pay any less... so it's up to you... either way we're not employed as Ski hosts.

I'll just take the free wine. :-)

You state ur grade before day 1, if you feel that you are not benefiting you can be moved to another class provided there is space.
I have also seen groups be split in two when half excel.

More importantly wtf is a 'lie in'? jeez

I can see ur pov regarding the helmet mount Ian but there are many alternatives.
But pls make sure you will be happy with the bullet cams field of view, the go pro goes to 170 degrees where as some bullets max out at 90.
The newer go pros are a little smaller.

It does however look as if the ESF are creating a type of job description that will have to be paid for & appears to be hosting by another name.

Indeed they are, they are confusing ski guides with ski hosts.......DELIBERATELY as they provide legal 'paid for' guides.

Make ur own judgement as to why.
