With Amazon they allow private sellers to sell through their storefront. For example look at the link below. This is on Amazon, comes up in an Amazon search and most people would believe you are buying from Amazon but you are not. It this case the product is being sold by a company called Pixstop. http://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Android-MicroSDHC-Bi-coloured-Adapter/dp/B007XZM6VG/ref=sr_1_5?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1362172847&sr=1-5 I am not suggesting this supplier is selling fakes, just pointing out the way you can sell yourself almost as easily as eBay. That is the market place. Its almost indistinguishable from Amazon as most people believe it. |

Ian, Amazon themselves are very reputable, i did say 'Amazon Marketplace', which is a haven for counterfeiters. You need to be careful on that site as to who you are actually buying from. If its not available to deliver from Amazon themselves i stay well clear. Some of the fakes may well be fine but if i am sold a genuine brand i expect a genuine brand. http://consumergoods.edgl.com/trends/Amazon-Marketplace-Named-Largest-Counterfeit-Outlet83328 That link refers to the US but its the same here. |

Careful on amazon marketplace or eBay, tons of fakes. I buy from www.mymemory.co.uk |

Trust me, a go pro will eat that up..... I am assuming that you shot less because you had to hand hold your camera Ian? Once its clipped on hands free you tend to forget it and it runs and runs. |

Cloud storage? Are you kidding me? From a ski resort? I have been lucky to get a half decent connection to browse J2 from the mountains let alone upload gig's of files. Over the course of a week i will probably fill up around 30gb of data, this is mainly because the battery will die on you, so it wont be running all day everyday. Unless you have a 64gb + iPad i wouldn't bother trying to use that for storage. The most convenient option is plenty of SD cards, a 32gb version should be around £20. I much prefer to take my laptop and copy the files every night. I do this for a few reasons. 1. if the card fails one day i haven't lost the lot. 2. if i loose my camera i haven't lost the lot. 3. I view the files so i can see how me angles are working. 5. I just like to watch my stuff with a few beers each night. As for Mac/PC compatibility.....you can network the two easily to copy the files across or just use a external HDD of flash Drive to copy across. Editing : Final cut pro. (although i am only just learning it) or iMovie. |
