Have a great one and don't forget to keep us all jealous.

Still won't be skiing then if there isn't any snow!

I have a pair of Dakine, cost about £40 4 years ago. Still great condition & I dont have a elf to carry my skis :D

I am sure there is a plethora of gloves out there that will suit without going down the bike route? You wearing a motorcycle lid too? :)

Reliable snow forecasts

Iy is notouirisly difficult to forecast more than 2-3 days ahead. I think you will find that forecasts for the next 2/3 days are pretty consistent and accurate.

I tend to use the J2ski snow report emails as they tend to be accurate in the shorter period. Anything after that is just a tease :)

It is also VERY hardwork!!! How did I manage to ski for a week with skis at that odd angle?

There is normally a little space above the base of the the toes. The pads are very thin. There is a sticky strip on the pads which holds them in place on your sock as you slide your boots on.

Do they last a full day? 6 hours or so?
