I did see on zoo travel a catered chalet in St Anton (yes i know its not lech but...) for £299 pp from gatwick but leaving the 14th dec!

From what i can gather yes they are all very expensive in that area, but i think there are some cheaper alternatives?? Oberlech possibly? Not sure as i haven't been there! Have a feeling Tony_H has been but again not certain, but he may be useful in some of his wisdom on resorts!

Have also been looking at this area for a trip in april! Looks good, especially for a family with a large ski area of various different levels of difficulty! Want to the 16kms black run, have heard its not that difficult but would be fun to ski so far and for so long with out switching runs etc!

Well i went to the dry slope today! Thought i'd try gloucester out as i always go to churchill the local one to me! Was a mistake really found it quite boring to be honest and couldn't be bothered after 1 hour! Just two straight slopes! Very boring and shan't be returning! What a waste of petrol that was!

I was planning on hitting the "slopes" (dry ski slope that is :roll:) this week as its half term! :mrgreen:
