Yep. Stand up and try to balance on the balls of your feet... you need to be pretty centered to do it.

Feeling the front of your boots with your shins only works if you are doing the right thing everywhere else.

Decent report from the PlanetSKI guys. I'd say it is a pretty fair representation of Cairngorms but I think it is worth pointing out that the queues have been almost non existent in the West this season. |

I suppose getting over 100 entries would just be greedy

Your link doesn't work.
This one does. |

I understand Glenshee has nearly double the amount of skier days over 2008/2009. At Nevis Range the other day the amount of snow is truly unbelievable - maybe it is just in weird places but I don't think I have ever seen so much. There hasn't been a weekend all year which hasn't presented me the opportunity to ski - magic!

Just get a simple cable lock. If someone is determined it won't put them off but it can act as a deterrent to the opportunist.
Next time you buy skis you should record the serial numbers (they are a unique identifier) which is the only real way of telling if they are yours. |

It happens everywhere, don't let it put you off a particular resort. Keep an eye on them or lock them up - I wouldn't be surprised if your insurance doesn't pay out on the basis that you left them totally unattended for 40 minutes.
Resorts should start installing the skikey system - it really is great and gives me the illusion of security. |
