thanks for the info.
Do you know how it would differ from hiring a tobaggon and doing it yourself to doing it with a tour operator? do they take you somewhere different or exclusive. I noticed on the pdf info sheet that there is a section that gives you a price for taboganning. is this a special place? Karen |

I hope it starts snowing too. been looking at the webcam and it looks like the beginners slope is a bit bare, but we still have plent time yet so fingers crossed. Karen |

Hi everyone.
Ok so hopefully we will be able still have the energy to do "something" during the evening and not crash out through exhaustion! So if we do have the energy, what is there to do that is fun for the kids (sges 13,10 and 8 ). I remember when I went to Soll years ago and we were taken up the mountain by a sort of tractor to a place where we were given gluvine (or however you spell it) and sledges and we sled down the mountain. It was great fun. So I was thinking of something like that. We will have our car with us, so we could go to another village but would prefer to try and stay local. Is there a swimming pool locally? To be honest I really think we (I lol) will be too knackered to do something every night. Karen |

Hi Jan
I have been taking a peek at your webcam for the past week or so as our trip is getting closer and I am really looking forward to it. I have a question. Is the webcam on a loop? like does it switch views every ?? minutes. I noticed that it is zoomed right on the crane beside a shop (well it looks like a shop) but I think this view is opposite our hotel (the Alpenhof). I noticed that it switches to really close up, to up a mountain, to zoomed right out so you can see the whole village. Karen |

I cant believe everyone is going to Niederau and I wont be there when everyone is meeting up!
We go during the Feb school term. I am definitley taking the kids out of school next year. (well that is if I can persuade hubby to return!, otherwise I have told him, I am going on my own!! so could be looking for a ski partner for 2010 lol |

ok thanks for your replies. my mind has been put at ease.
Do you think the same would apply for the ski hire? or do i need to act onthis now? |

Ok, so as you all know I am going peak time (school holidays in February)to Niederau next year.
trying to get organised I contacted the red ski school to book the ski lessons, only to be told to book when I get there. I am really worried that we will end up with no lessons at all with it being peak time and end up fully booked. Then what will we do (Jan you better limber up coz we could be knocking on your door begging for a lesson ) lol Do you think this is ok to leave it until we get there (not that I have much choice).
