I've learned that I have more technique than I have confidence. Good in some ways, very bad in others.

Nope, they don't bother me at all - prefer chairs where I can, of course, but I wouldn't take a different route to avoid a button or drag lift. Even my snowboarding husband is pretty good about using them

Hmmm if you have real beginners then a day in Les Houches might be an idea - 10 minutes down the road from the centre of Cham, tree level, lots of easy blues and wide reds and the best mountain restaurant for lunch!

We've had a few great meals at Le Tourbillon in Les Gets too - not the cheapest but excellent food
