cem wrote:the only major difference between 10/11 and 11/12 model of that boot is the material over the instep, the older model was a little tough to get your foot into, once in not a problem but getting in was an issue so on the newer one they made some grooves in the plastic over the top of the foot to make entry/exit easier, other than that not a whole heap of difference...so if you can get them on save yourself £100

Hi Cem

Nice to see you online again :D You have been a mine of information in the past and I need to ask a question if you do not mind. I have a pair of custom fitted Daleboots as I have always had probs with my feet all my life. I have just started running and have the same pain I get when skiing. It now looks like I have Mortons Neurosis and will have to have special orthotics made for my boots. Do you know if this will interfere with my custom footbeds in my Daleboots or can I just swap them over??? I have sent an email to Dale boot but have not had a reply and my podiatrist visit is on Saturday!

your assistance would be appreciated

thanks

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Ian?? My husbands office overlooks the track on the Marina - best place to be during the race. Shame about Vettel :(

Ski Helmets

You guys definately put a laugh in my day!!!

Story of before I bought my helmet 2 years ago - ski in, ski out chalet, put skis on, skiied away from the chalet and onto the run leading down to the lift, early morning, icy, ski not on properly, ski unclipped, edge caught on other ski, straigh over onto my back on hard ground - worse headache I have ever had.

Next day, some person skis straight into me and I had no way of avoiding them. Hit me square in the forehead.

New helmet next day!!!

Actually looks good, light as a feather and warm to boot.

Mine is light choc brown worn with cream jacket and light choc brown salo's - milk Oreo

OH bought one too - red and black with a wide chrome strip - I can see him anywwhere on the mountain when the sun hits it )

Advice on Kitzbuhel please ?
Started by User in Austria, 18 Replies
Hi guys

we have been to kitzbuhel every year for the last 6 years so that should tell you something. We always ski a new resort but finish off our second week at Kitz which feels like coming home,

Excellent resort but try to stay near the hahnenkamm gondola as it can be a bit of a walk in ski boots though the Intersport there has lockers for your gear

best apreski is at Chizzos bar where after a few jaegermeisters you will be banging nails into an upended treetrunk with the wrong end of the hammer!

Do try to go over the 3S Bahn to Pass Turn area. Can take all day and need to catch the bus back but lovely skiing for intermediates and up. Run No 4 on the Horn side is our family favorite

enjoy - Kitz is lovely
