Just received this publication; a cheap looking production with nothing in it that you wouldn't have found in any previous brochure. However, interested to see Nauders featured for the first time - went there on my second-ever ski trip in 1975!

Plans for a small ski development in the south of Scotland are afoot.
Good luck to the enthusiasts behind the scheme. http://www.skiclub.lowtherhills.com/ |

Of course the guidebook lists Crystal's accommodation and flight options, as well as recommendations for different booking types (groups, beginners, families…) and rentals, lift pass and other options, but it is been presented as a guidebook with glossy images, easy to read maps and insider tips from Crystal's global ski resort staff network, as well as all the other basic resort information.
So that's a brochure then? |

What a day - cold and crisp up the mountain. Only six pistes have ended for the season. A little heavy in the afternoon, but terrific conditions for this late in the season!!

Arrived this afternoon, very efficient railway/postbus transfer, to new snow in town and all over the mountain. The ski area was closed yesterday due to snowstorms. Today 18 out of 22 lifts ran, half-a-metre on lower slopes; powder higher up!
Hardly anyone about - I have the feeling I've got lucky by going this late! :) |

I held my nerve over the last couple of weeks with the thermometer rising but glad I did now. Most of the lifts and pistes open anyway before this latest snowfall!

Heavy snow forecast this weekend in Saas Fee...just in time for an end-of-season blast! Can't wait...

If it were me, I'd opt for Solden of the three and stay in Zwieselstein, half-way to Obergurgl. I wouldn't buy a week pass (there is no shared pass, as such) and pick and choose each day between S and O depending on best conditions, weather etc.
