It might be a bit early to start this....but what was your best moment/run/experience this season?

Mine: Friday, January 25, about 3.30... the last run of the trip to Arosa, Switzerland. Weisshorn cable car to the top of the Carmenna black run, fresh snow, wait five minutes and there's no-one else on the run....absolute bliss!!!

1972 - aged 13- in Sauze D'Oulx. Leather boots and cable bindings (bloody dangerous!) Bitten by the bug and I dread to think how much I've spent on treating the virus ever since!

Now fully booked via the GVA website - not particularly cheap, but appears fairly painless!

Going to La Plagne with my brother and his family (no room in his motor!) on March 15. Flight booked to Geneva, but wondered if anyone had any info/views/ experiences good or bad of the Aero Ski Bus transfer from Geneva Airport.

Booking rail tickets is proving something of a pain for the right times (at times like this you really appreciate Swiss railways!), and don't really want to get a hire car for just me!

Any guidance much appreciated.

My first choice would be the very beautiful Arosa, followed by Engelberg. Both very family friendly resorts and easy to get to, especially from you local railway station!

Couldn't agree more...David Vine and Konrad Bartelski would be turning in their graves (if they were dead, that is!)
