File or cut of any unsightly burrs/edges, then carefully with a finger (important) apply a small amount of superglue to the area to seal it and keep watertight. I use superglue for quick fixing any delaminated topsheet to prevent water damage. Works a treat and its invisible. Skis/board must be dry however, water cures superglue.

Is there enough in Ruka to keep me occupied?

There could be enough to keep you occupied in Tampere, Tino. When I was driving back from Lapland, (long time ago), I stayed a few days in Tampere. At that time, it's claim to fame was to have the highest gal/guy ratio, in Europe, I think.

Good to know, but the reason I will be there is a woman!!

Soooooooo would this lady be boarding with you? If so the log cabins a better bet

Not this time, I will see her either weekend and go riding in-between for a few days.
Nice to be here

Tell me where you want to be and when, preferred method of travel and type/class of accomodation.

I will provide you with an itinary, list of contact names, numbers and english internet sites.

I will do this for 5% of the total amount of the holiday, which will be substantially cheaper than your travel agent. Hell, I'll come with you and show you around if you like.

I travel throughout Europe extensively for work and pleasure, I do it all my self using t'interweb and have had some amazing experiences In Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France and Italy snowboarding. Currently online working out 4 days riding in Finland. I managed to get to Portillo in Chile in summer for 8 days sliding without once talking to an agent.

BTW, I routinely go to Zermatt for 2 or 3 days and have never had trouble with accomodation!! Check out my blog for a few ideas.

Thanks Tino your very kind.

But you do understand it not the accommodation we are looking for it's the train the accommodation is already booked

Its all there on my blog, links to train infor for Austria, Germany and Switzerland. These sites will detail travel into surrounding countries also, all 3 can be used in English.
