Oh My God

I have been looking at getting some snow chains and was giong to buy some off ebay. HOWEVER, I decided to ring Volkswagen today (we have a passat 2004) to see how much it would be to buy VW snow chains. The guy was really helpful and he had also contacted another company that deal specifcally with snow chains and was told that VW Passats could not have snow chains as the clearance at the wheelarch or something like that was not big enough for them.

I cant believe that this is true. The guy said my only option was a snow sock which costs £86 but not sure if this would be legally classed as a snowchain. Surely people drive VW Passats in Austria?

ok, so I went to the GP today and he told me its not gout and its not a bunion.

He said it has been caused through rubbing off my shoes (although I havent got a blister there) He explained it similar to a knee when your bone rubs the inside of your kneecap! or something like that. Anyway the good news is that it will get better in time but the bad news is I havent got a clue how much time! lol. I was just pleased it wasnt a bunion.

My nephew went to Schladming last year and they stayed in dorm type accomodation.

When I went with the school......many moons ago. We went to a small place called Villach. It did its purpose. I remember we stayed out of the resort and had to bus in every day but I remember some good times lol

Do they only have one then ?????

OOh I think so.....I think I read it somewhere. I just know if it is just on a Sunday we are only there for one Sunday so dont want to miss it. Unfortunately I dont think the kids would be asked to take part as they will only have been in ski school for 1 day.

Hi guys

As we will be arriving late Saturday night and leaving the following Saturday morning, we will only be able to see the instructor show on the Sunday that we get there.

Can anyone tell me where it is at and what time it starts and does it cost?

I think I will have to bite the bullet and go to my GP
bunion??

I am having a bit of a crisis with only 3 weeks to go for our holidays, I have started to get a pain on my right foot, which is thre all the time, whether I am walking or not or have shoes on or not. It is just throbbing all the time. The place it is at is typically where you would see a bunion.

I am unsure if it is a bunion. I dont wear stupid shoes, I tend to live in my trainers or flat shoes. If this is a bunion and the pain is worse when I have shoes on, do you think it will be worse with ski boots?

Oh what a time to happen! I am just hoping I have pulled a muscle and it will heal but I think because of the location and the pain that it could be a bunion.

Any advice?

It certainly looks as though you will need them

Is it snowing like? or was that just you will need them in general?
