Perhaps the press need to take heed of the example set by Dario Cologna in the 15k classic. Dario waited over 30 minutes after winning a hard fought race (in 38 mins) to congratulate a 43 year old Peruvian skier on finishing. Very touching I thought, and Dario has certainly gained one new fan here.

 I swear there is a cat calling on that video at 1:20 Paul. I don't remember any cats other than our own one on the trip!

Just got home after an epic drive back, ready for bed, but time to post just a few pics from the trip.
first few show the area in it's beauty when the sun comes out :)
These next two show just how much snow they have got out there at the moment. They have declared an emergency in the area as some buildings are collapsing under the weight of the snow

I would suggest whichever one will be showing it would be a good start -)
Have a great time out there. I will have a similar issue for watching the Superbowl out in Folgarida. |

Billip, it's been shut up in Ally's suitcase since the J2Ski 2013 Holiday. You had better pray for all our sakes that Ally manages to get it all washed before leaving time

Massive congratulations to all our athletes, but a huge congrats has to go to Andy Musgrave. I have been watching him when possible (for obvious reasons he did not command much tv air time) for a few seasons, and he has come on enormously in recent times. It is a huge joy to be able to watch a British athlete compete at the top level in winter sports.
Fingers crossed for all our athletes in Sochi. Do us proud please ladies and gents, we will be cheering you on. |
