So, 2 awesome days skiing at Glenshee. I had 2 full runs to myself and apart from that I spent the time teaching. Had 3 awesome 'intermediate' kids who were happy to go everywhere on Friday morning which made my life easier and a whole lot of fun so spent some time racking up the runs.
Afternoon was spent with one group of kids who got on well (complete beginners) and even saw them ripping around today. Today I kicked things off with some adult beginners and had great fun followed by a complete beginner group which was even cooler. Thinking everything had gone soo sweetly and with one lesson left for the weekend something had to go wrong with the 4 kids. Well it did owing to a fear of heights but we managed to get up (1 lift tower more each run) so she wasn't even realising how high up we were going. Fairly successful weekend and despite the rammed car park the queues were almost non existent apart from the classic bottle necks which are easily avoidable. Snow is awesome with full width skiing on most runs. Should be plenty to hold up through the coming thaw and provide good skiing for some time! |

I am with you on that, Trencher. Sometimes the jumps are more scary than exciting.

So far on Valentines day I have taught three lessons and driven a couple of hundred miles. Right now I am opening my Mastercard bill and that is about it for the rest of the eve!
