Rather narrow indeed.
The range of skis are generally highly though of so i don't imagine you can go (far) wrong. |

Just back from flying Jet2, probably the worst plane I have ever been on. Ever. The (recaro) seats did recline and the staff were pleasant enough.
We pre-booked seats online-at a charge of course. Plane was pretty empty. 1 hour delay out bound, 1 hour early coming back. We got 23kg each with Jet2 and I paid extra for the ski bag which weighed about 23 kg as well, no questions asked. |

I got excited when I saw the thread title
Eddie the Eagle is still about, parents were on the same dog sledding trip as him last year in Canada  |

It might get hammered but it might not. Traditionally they may get more snow than usual but it is not a dead cert. Chances are the snow that does fall will fall with warmer air so could be quite heavy and wet.
Whatever happens it looks like a cool area so you will have a great time! |

There are 2 real options if you want to learn how to 'carve'.
Option 1: Get opinions, watch videos and read online. Option 2: Get some lessons. The most quick, painless and effective method is arguably to get lessons. This would be my advice. |

You should have purchased new gear and billed the ski company/insurance company. Too late now.
Next time get some good insurance with plenty gear cover so you can just replace it all straight off. |
