Snowdome?
Dry slope?
Bit of spring snow somewhere?
And what the competition was, with what you liked about the Volkl.

Can't have been the graphics :lol: (but I like the brighter the better for my sins - had a super pair of bright yellow and black Volkls years ago, great all round ski)

I think it prudent with a new skier to choose somewhere with things to do and distractions just in case skiing does not work!
Nothing more miserable than hating skiing and being stuck in a shoe box with nothing to do.

and Snapzzz - I do think it particularly mean of you to "put" your sis in 6am lessons!
What's wrong with 9.30am like everyone else?
