Luckily those lovely passport office people in Peterborough sorted it all out without any fuss.

14.5 hour delay coming back from Tignes last year wasn't pleasant. A 9am Chambery flight became a 11.30pm Grenoble one. It was only because the pilot coming to collect us from the gate that we got away at all!

Stepping out of a ski on the North Face of the Valuga wasn't the best of moves. It ended up 200m below us and I had to get down a silly steep pitch on one ski.

To add insult to injury I left my ski on back of bus so had to wait for it to go around again to face same bus driver to retrieve lost ski! Why my kids find me embarrassing I will never know!

And hubby got flu after 3 days skiing! Holiday from hell!
