Not got one myself, but looking at some of the videos that have been posted the best result for 'audience viewing' seems to be when the camera position is varied around a bit. It's good to get different perspectives.

You pay €3 the first time for the card...You're right it must say "Skip@ss" on it and I understand it must be the ones written in blue (not black)

More from the 3V web site:

"Different types of pass cards available:
Free pass card, load once at the cash desks, > usable with all types of passes except for season passes.

The €3 P@S card, reloadable from your home or other locations for your next stays => usable with all types of passes.
The cards can be replaced in case of loss or theft, in this event, one day will be taken off the pass and a fee of €10 will be required."

E-mail them and ask: backoffice@s3v.com

they responded to me within a couple of days.

Or have you got spare skip@ss (blue) from another resort? for example an Alpe d'huez pass can be 'recharged' on the 3V system. If so, why not put one purchase on the first card and the other on the second [only carry one at a time in your pocket though!)
Got my OH Kindle book vouchers...so she can have something to read when I leave her behind to go skiing on my own soon.

Amaze myself sometimes being so thoughtful. :D

Then there is the one that gets me on Gondalas. Putting my ski on the outside of the gondola. Everytime we go over a pylon and the gondola shakes I am convinced that my skis are going to fall out. I am a nervous wreck all the way up.

I had a little experience of that, this year at the top of "The White Eggs" (L2A). We were chatting and looking at the pistes on the one side, didn't pay any attention to the skis the other. As I got out I grabbed the kids' skis first and then turned to get mine.... "heart in mouth moment"...they weren't there.

....then I saw him with them in hand....As the car had come into the station a 'liftie' had been tucked behind a screen, so I hadn't seen him. He'd obviously grabbed mine as the doors were opening and then stepped back.

still not sure if he was trying to help or playing a little devil's trick. I suspect it was fun for him!
