I suffer from the same aching arches problem on day 1 every year...I have custom soles in my boots.
My theory is my boots are shaped to support my feet, but because I've walked around for 51 weeks a year in shoes that are flat...my feet just aren't used to be supported properly. Therefore ski boots = well fitting; All other shoes = bad fitting; Conclusion = I should ski more regularly; Result = I've just returned from L2A and will go to 3V in seven weeks time. Just for 'research' purposes you understand. ) |

The big French resorts all sell on-line. Bought mine this year direct from Les Deux Alpes. They posted to UK within 5 days.
And buying direct saved about 80 Euro on a 'family deal' (that the tour operator wasn't offering). Would the rep on coach known about the family pass? Don't know so didn't risk it. |

Unfortunate sentence construction jocrad74 ) . perhaps you mean "either a bendy green, littered with beginners, or blacks." That was a concern when I booked, but glad now the snow is dumping down...so the green is hopefully going to be in a good condition. And that is what I was hoping to glean from the snow reports! |

Santa didn't bring me anything but told me to take the family this time [after 5 years leaving them behind  ]

Snowplough, daft MW, lucky for CM. it's a tough market out their so you'd think all operators need to up their personal touch to keep custom.
Guess I'm lucky with choice of Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stanstead, Birmingham all within 1.5 hrs from me, plus the tunnel not far off either :-) (sorry fascination) back to topic...as you were saying "Club Med...." |

Starting to get excited about my Les 2 Alpes trip coming up v.soon, but "2alpesnet" reports are all reading rather "negative" and downbeat.
Are there any alternative good sites with regular updates? I would love to be reading daily about the best slopes, the best conditions to be finding at the best times of the day, and what-not...not how it's too cold, too windy or computer problems. (Sorry 2alpesnet reporter/writer) |

Snowplough....Not a plug, just a correction...because MW do do flights out of Glasgow. According to this year's brochure you can also book without flights too...but must telephone book (not online). |
