Which resorts/companies have ski guiding, or group ski-ing (not lessons)

My understanding is that 'ski hosting' as part of a pre-organised 'package holiday' have gone (in Europe).
Some tour operators are (apparently) helping to co-ordinate 'social skiing'. I think the principle is that they will group guests together (who have similar agendas) and help them plan a ski itinerary for the day. I'm going with Mark Warner (tomorrow :D ) and hoping that they are doing this. |

Ouch, not much sympathy being expressed in the comments after that article.
On a global level things certainly get much much much worse than a night in Chambery airport. But on a 'holiday level', my recollection is that Chambery is best described as a cattle-market for Charter flights to be churned through - not an ideal place to get stuck and best avoided altogether if possible. We live our lives on many different levels. |

The winter tyres are for going to La Plagne with the family - first time driving in Alps. (But I've got a Val D'Isere "Dads' trip" (flying) before that.) |

Yes Sir :!: Ordered a set of Dunlop SP-Winter-Sport-4D today. Due to be delivered in 6 days. |

I've caught it too, but I'm getting counselling.... Mrs Smartski ( ) smacks me around the head every time I click on 'favourites'. |

Ah, yes they may call it Climate change now, but 20 years ago it was def global warming. -) |

You are so right. Mrs Smartski is saying I'm spending longer looking at webcams and forecasts than I will spend actually skiing when I do go. Time to stop worrying. There's nothing I can do about it. |
