Entertaining to watch!
Not sure it's for me. Don't do it in your kit - especially on your last day as the weight of the water will take you way over your luggage allowance! |

Well you'll be warm enough if the sun shines out of your ar**! |

I guess you've had the all clear to get back to full exercise?
If so go and try on an indoor slope and see how you feel about it. If you pass that hurdle book your holiday & build up your exercise regime to make sure you are as strong and fit as you can be to reduce the chances of other injuries. Ultimately you won't really know until you've done a few runs on the steep or at speed to get over the natural anxiety. |

The Andorran Granvalira is the biggest area but there are a number of smaller French venues too - Aix Le Thermes (excuse the spelling if it's wrong) and over into the Spanish side you've got Bacquira.

3V any time for the skiing although the atmosphere of Morzine town is perhaps better.
Much of the PDS is lower down hence the tree lined runs. Crowded in many areas particularly around Avoriaz. And a significant number of the runs are narrower which is a problem when they are crowded with novices. Been to both but I'm not overwhelmed with the desire to visit the PDS again but would jump at the chance to ski the 3Vs again. |

Who knows? - the Euro should get weaker in the short to medium term until the Southern economies come into line with the Northern ones (or they leave)
The UK government has a vested interest in keeping the Pound weak to benefit exports and realistically can only only acieve this by printing money (or the Newspeak for this is Quantitive easing) as it can't really drop interest rates any lower. Historically the Pound seems to weaken in the summer (presumably because our darling bankers make more money from us tourists buying our Euros) which hasn't really happenend this year, so my guess the Euro will fall further when the summer hoiday period ends. |

I'd use the free hire to try out different ski's - as you improve you may find your preference change and the sort of skiing you prefer may change to an extent.
The flip side is that the hire skis may not be great but, you'd hope as a seasonnaire, you should get to chat up the guys at the hire shop to get the better stuff. At the end of the season you might bag a bargain if you still want to buy. |

One option might be to buy two returns one starting in England & one in France & just use the outgoing portion of each.
