If an expert skiier likes Whistler...what would he like in Austria?

Altough St Anton is the only place in Austria I've been (except 34 years ago when I was 11 and I can't remember where that was) I would agree with bandit and reccommend it. ( Not that we consider ourselves experts!) We had a fab time and will definitely go back at some point. :-)

I was there last Christmas. You are putting yourself in a very dodgy position...because any ski resort you visit after Whistler will be a disappointment.
It is fantastic in every respect, you are going to have the time of your life. I stayed in the cheapest hotel I could find and it was superb. The food was great in all the restaurants we ate in, there are many bars that are all great depending on what atmosphere you're looking for. Ski hire equipment was top notch, instruction was excellent, the locals are friendly and caring and I need say no more about the slopes than powder, powder, powder!!! You lucky B****r :D |

Seriously though you must be well excited. I'd love to take my kids there before they realise Santa Claus doesn't exist. My youngest is 19 and still gives me a Christmas list every year :!:

Do you think they might be the people who live in these houses?
