Ah, but, by electing not to have sky, my NDI increases suffiently to allow an extra weeks skiing. I would rather do, than watch.

Hi Zoe, and welcome to J2ski.
The official end of season for Kaprun is shown as 1 May 2011, on the lift pass site. You might check directly with the ski school: http://www.skischool-kaprun.at/ Click English, and contact them. Let us know the response. |

How about~ "Good riddance to the Daily Mail"? Anyway, Tino, we all know you are a closet DM reader ~ that's how you became so knowledgeable! |

Easyjet price to Salzburg will still beat BA price, with or without skis. If you go on the Saturday, Easyjet will hammer the BA price.
If you do take skis, then you will have a much greater residual luggage allowance. Doing the maths always beats rhetoric. |

Bueller ist nicht hier.
Have to say that Dresden looks an interesting place, have not been, but the old google turns up some interesting stuff. My method when going to Berlin, was to find the oldest stuble in town, and thereby is charachter. Seems to be heaps of Baroque architecture, and theOld Masters art gall ~ should be a good use of a freebie. And while you are sinking your Saturday night beer, me and The OH, will be on stage at the Caird Hall, Dundee, singing in the Scottish Proms choir, briefly appearing at the Last Night of the Proms, when they share "You'll never walk Alone", round the 4 venues. But in the interval, I shall be thinking about skiing, Admin..... |

Deep grass, heavy frost....surely that would be enough?

Methodology is to tab up the airlines, and try each one with a departure airport of Innsbruck, Salzburg, Munich, and look at where they fly too.
You can get to all 3 from London with Easyjet. Cheaper to go on a Sunday. EG London~ Salzburg Sunday 6th~13th Feb. is £56. Add £18 for a bag, (put your boots inside) Total £74. Add 18.50 for skis. |
