Last year was quite hectic with renovations in all 3 places and in several languages (more than 3) It's really only now that I've realised just how exhausting being retired can be.

Feed me chocolate, the more expensive it is the better the results :D

Hey bandit! If you have the need for a tradesman I'm happy to travel! Do lots of domestic, retail & comercial property maintenance. Love working in Cornwall but I'd love to expand my travel radius a bit.

I'm sitting here in not so sunny Cornwall waiting for a shop to open so I can get on with some repairs. As I work for myself, the hours I work and time available for J2Ski vary.

Sorry charlie. I wasn't having a go at you. I was trying to get across that there are those who cannot leave England behind when they go away.
And I agree I can't see Bradford doing much this season - again. All went down hill when Brian Noble left.
I'll be watching the WCC from my sofa and you'll be in the snow. Enjoy.

Perfectly understand where Charlie's coming from. And Leeds need to make the most of this cup final as there won't be any more this season.

Each to their own. If the Bulls had made the WCC I still wouldn't watch the game on TV if I was on holiday. I feel the same about people who can't survive a week without watching footy, having a sunday roast or a full english breakfast whilst on hoilday. I go away to enjoy the country, culture, food and the general atmosphere of a resort without becoming a stereotype for the English abroad.
I work long hard hours to save enough money for my once a year ski holiday and I'm going to get every pounds worth out of it.

Much as I'm a huge Rugby League fan, I can survive without the needs for Sky TV whilst on hols. That's the reason I go. No TV, newspaper, email or phone until I get back.

Being given the chance to complete my last 18 months of 22 years in the Royal Navy and draw a full pension and sticking a huge middle finger to the man and leaving! Money isn't everything.

If you didn't take a ski type holiday over the winter what type of holiday would you choose?
