Well, in the end i hung on a few more weeks and the price fell by £300 so I'm very happy.
This morning i booked and we now have a week in ADH to look forward to. Flying out on xmas eve. Just good buy up some fancy dress for xmas day on the slopes now......seen quite a nice elf one for me, remember buddy the elf from the movie? |

Well, the Mrs just got her holidays confirmed by work so we will be off to Alpe D'Huez on the 24th Dec. Can't flippin' wait.
Now the dilemma is do i book now or sit tight a little bit and hope for reductions? |

The only thing that puts me off is the size of the place, did you all find there was enough skiing to you occupied for a week? |

I too loked at this last year and came to the conclusion that DIY was the only way forward.

I think we will look at a hotel or chalet this time as we normally go sc, I'm sure there will be more fun that way. |

Anyone been here at Xmas?
We were booked for January but may now go over Christmas to avoid taking my little one out of school twice. I was just wondering what the atmosphere will be like? I obviously just want to ski but I am sure the family will still want that Xmas feeling. Also, how snow sure is ADH at Xmas time.... I know early season is always going to be a lottery but compared to other resorts how does it compare? |
