If there is one thing I have learnt it is not to forget mothers day, even a card does the trick. On the upside my mums away doing something horse related so I have the house to myself. Went out for a meal at Cameron House yesterday (google it) and it was pretty good but overpriced.. like really over priced.
I used to work for Tesco (gap year job) and our manager was really anal about the flowers too

Snow Time wrote:I normally ski at Cairngorm but this year I have also skied four or five times at the Lecht (now little more than a bare hill). I took my son up to Cairngorm this afternoon for three and a half hours, and after the hill fog cleared at about 3pm it was beautiful.

We were limited to the green runs as my son has only skied 5 times, but had a great time on the Ciste Fairway and Bowl, which are still in good condition.

Although I would naturally choose red and blue runs, as far as I'm concerned as long as I'm skiing, I'm having fun!

Is it not absolutely awesome seeing your son ski (assuming he is pretty young) and enjoying being out in the mountains? Great you are getting some time in, I brought the golf clubs out for the first time on Friday but hoping Ullr will deliver us some fresh snow to set us up for April

I take it no one informed him?

So even if the instructor deosn't need to wear a helmet in that instance, should he by example make that choice for the student ?

You can only suggest someone takes your advice, some people you just can't tell. If they are not children then it has to be an individual choice and they can only choose whether or not to act on your advice.
