They aren't cheap at all. I would like to see some dude buy a pair because they were expensive and looked pretty only to find out they were far too stiff and he found it incredibly difficult to ski them

I look for how waterproof it is (5k, 10k, 15k) not that I really understand what it means or how different a 5k would be from a 15k, I don't tend to ski in the rain anyways. A lot of people look for breathability but the number tends to come with the waterproofing and how breathable can something been when wet (I believe ise made this point a few months back).
I like arm vents for when it gets real hot and a decent hood for over the helmet if it can allow. Also a 'powder skirt' to keep the snow out but they aren't all that good anyways hence my want for bib pants or a onesy. Colour is pretty important. |

Ah OK I didn't check out your page numbers, mine are in the Classic range for next year however.
Think retail on the sharp side of €1k |

You can't rate warmth and 'dryness' of a particular brand because within every brand there are expensive jackets and cheaper ones with more technical features etc..

I am concerned that my mum collects all that sort of stuff. I bought a card this year, a hand made one which leaves the question open 'did he make it?' which of course mother will be too polite to ask and just assume the best  |
