Trencher, did you not once post a photo of your ski workbench, c/w clamps?
Alistair, should you ask Trencher nicely, he will put a picture up of his ski bench, including clamps.
Competition for week in St Anton

It is true that St Anton has some good interesting runs. It is also true that for much of the season, the main leader runs are hoaching, and it would be foolhardy and dangerous to be blasting through throngs.
Hence, I found St Anton to be restrictive for my type of skiing. On the other hand, Stuben and Rendle were very enjoyable, as was Lech. In Stuben, I had a couple of runs with a group of the Austrian team coaches.
My comments are not meant to put anyone else off St Anton, I always enjoy my skiing, wherever it is. Incidentally, Dave Watts forms the same view.

Had a look at it, Alistair, but I was in St Anton last year.
It is for two people only. In March the plan is that my buddy and his frau will be over from New Zealand, so there will be 4 of us.
We want ski for 3 weeks, and do a lot of skiing, and St Anton is a bit restricting.

Snow conditions - insufficient for sledging but we were doing it anyway
Survival kit - bag of monster munch, old banana, 2 manky tangerines, camera
Success rating - Hell of a laugh

I thought you were in "N" new year ..... have you departed earlier

You must be mistaken Ian, that hill is too big for N
