where to stay near Glenshee

Glenshee is certainly the largest and most "alpine" of the lot but they are all good currently-I was up at Glencoe (closest to glasgow) on monday and it was excellent-really had that fresh snow "squeak" when you walked on it

I think if you PMd dave mac or someone or look on winterhighland.info they would be able to give better advice for accomodation

I have used Hommenkol wax and swix-both have a selection of waxes for travel, cool, mild, warm and race set ups but most companies will do all that-just depends how much you want to spend!
any advice welcome!!

take a look at livigno-flights into milan and then an easy transfer over, it is tax free so boozing and apres is cheaper than franc eor even austria and it is a hge resort for snowboarders-the runs are very, very wide and there is a great neginers area-there are no runs that feed into the top of them so you can learn with the safety of not being whacked into!

valloirre was pretty unskiable in parts-all of the south facing slopes were bare and we were actually skiing in hoodies with no hats or anything in mid jan!!

feet were even not cold and didnt need to heat my boots in the morning!
Fractured fibula

I broke my fib in september (spiral fracture), had a screa dn still have a plate in my leg-2 ops with full general and have been skiing at christmas and just there last week in france. I found my boots has helped support my leg but it sounds like the break was lower as went down the outside and then across the ankle bone.

Hpwever docs said to me it will be 2 years til it is properly fixed :-( still cant ski moguls nor get pressure through the outside ski when turning to the left
