Congrats Snowbandit, I would say I'm jealous, but keeping with the Alpine Migration theme, I signed a contract for a managerial position in a pharma company in Visp last week :)

30km from Zermatt and 25km from Saas Fee, both of which I am currently looking for property in :)

Happy days!!

Statistics have conclusively shown that people who take part in online surveys die early. In 3.09% of the test group consisting of 256,785 individuals equally dispersed both geographically and on a religious basis; show greater signs of premature balding and associates diseases such as being boring farts. A small but significant population of surveyed individuals has indicated the combination of taking part in online surveys about helmet wearing and the act of actually using one has resulted in sincere depression of the individuals family and close friends as they struggle to come to terms with the rapid decline of one so close to them. In a double blind survey it was found that being doubly blind was only fractionally worse than just plain blind, somewhat confusing researchers.

I suggest we direct the poster to our long standing debacle, I mean debate on the topic and let him/her fill in the survey him or her-self. Thus saving us valuable life and him or her getting the answer they wanted in the first place to validate the huge funding they have been given to sit on thier arses and let someone else do the work.

Keep on Rocking in the Free World.

Ski Lift Running on Solar Power

But, in energy terms, the solar system should be able to pay for itself in about 6 years.

Can't do the quotes on my phone, but aside from the size of the bill, where are you gonna send it?

Now, I had wondered about this being a little local hill. In which case the whole solar thing makes great sense. Big resorts don't do it cos they don't need to. This seems to be a wise investment as it should pay back at some point and potentially allow further investment.
Portillo take 2

Well, Chile is out this year, flights were proving very expensive!! So going to the opposite end of the temperature spectrum and going to stay in the rainforest at the Manuel Antionio National Park in Costa Rica instead.

As well as doing my second most loved sport of Jetskiing I might give surfing a bash :)

Gonna stay in an old Boeing 727 50ft up in the trees for five nights of it also, keeping the theme of our meeting alive :)

My target of 60 days riding has stalled on 41, even with a couple of glacier weekends I won't make it, but hey it was fun trying!!!
