Last time I skied til 4.00pm, mandetory coffee and cake with the Haus Frau at 4.15pm, and set off from Niderau at 5.00pm. Drove non-stop to the ferry, and then up to mid-Staffs, where my ski-buddy lives. Dropped him off, and drove back to Scotland, about 4.00pm. Had some tea, then went and played tennis. I was a bit tired though.

I did consider the Tirol Pass, and I contacted them. They di not offer a pre-season discount, and thus would have cost us over 100 Eu each extra. Maybe next year. - )

Emma, this is your first J2ski year. You should be advised that Admin never goes on holiday, he never sleeps, his computer is switched on 24/7. His scissors are always at the ready.
I have skied with him. He takes up a demanding, nay, commanding space on the piste, but then he always carries his computer, dongle, scissors. Respect. |

Now, isn't that just typical ~ we are all on the case, and Henski has gone to the pub.
The negatives are in the lead at £800+, and the positives are in the lead at £404. I do love J2ski. And Stollen, just bought two at Lidls, mmmmmmm. |

Have you considered joining the Norfolk Ski Club, Ian? - ) |

Certainly, I will be skiing for 2 weeks in Niederau in Mid march, plus a week on another place ~ where Zermatt is on the short list.
It is absolutely perfect for families. It isn't car free, but it is Plonker-free. - ) |

Zermatt ~ Thanks for the Wolli info, Bandit, there are some new developments since I was last there. (Been there 3 x, but not as many as you!) However, you still have to electric bus to the station, then Funicular up to Sunnegga Paradise, and the same down. And then, the adult skiers may need to ski in the same area, which defeats the point of Zermatt.
Inghams list only one resort as one star for beginners ~ Zermatt. |

Nein danke. I was lead astray.... Absolutely perfect for you, though, Billip! Bichlwirt for a few Zipfers, early bed, early start. Ski til the lift closes. |
