There you go. J2lateral thinkers!
Oh, and erm, Wilton, Axminster, wool blend? Look folks I was broke, skint, kein spondules. It was unter die bett, out of sight, available. I knew that one day there would be a reckoning, but it was a long time down the road. I also took a beating about the ski wax on the kitchen floor, and letting out the big cupboard as a bedroom. Ahh well..... |

Luck? I have been in Niederau this week for the past 10 years, and many before that. One bad year! Luck? It's a snow brainer!

Andy, the carpet was inside the boots! |

Who is it that you work for again, Don?

You were related to a guy, Andy?

Em, in the past, it seems to be security that has refused the boots. Oh, and whatever you do, don't say the word "bomb".

Actually Em, only Scapula and I have complete retention of marbles on this one. The stated criteria eliminates your 1) and 2). I can assure you that 3) worked for me, and lasted for a total of 4 seasons. For me, it is the nadir of commonsense ~ too much space in the boot ~ fill it. All the footbed criteria remains the same. I accept it is not the ideal solution for one such as yourself, y'know pots of money........ |

Reading these threads just confirms my thoughts. There are no identifiable rules. It isn't rocket science. For my money, Easyjet stole a march when they introduced the common sense rule for hand baggage weight, you must be able to lift it into place, subject to a size, 550X450x225. (going off memory, so don't carp)
So they could steal another march by making a positive hand baggage ski boot statement. |
