I have been cleaning the kitchen and cooking Steak and peppercorn sauce whilst my OH has been building a pen in the garden for Oswald the tortoise. Relaxing now on the sofa in pj's, have just bought a tortoise hutch on ebay...bargain!

Life is so exciting... :roll:

I have two cats and one of them is the double of your cat...he absolutely loved the snow, he was chasing flakes all day and rolling around in it. He's not as brave with the tortoise though!

A fridge is recommended for hibernation because you can regulate the temperature, but you are right bandit, they need air so you have to open it on a regular basis.

That's not a problem when you have three grown up son's who are NOT teachers and therefore don't have six weeks off to go on holiday...always someone here throughout the year!
