I went there three years ago with my school trip-Im a teacher and we had a fantastic week! Admittedly it was the best snow they had seen in 12yrs apparently but still!
Two distinct hills-one excellent for beginners and another that stretches much further and higher we also went the week after the mens downhill which was interesting-course was still iced from the race but had 3feet of powder ontop! One of the most romantic reports I've ever been in-just a shame i was with 35school kids! Do the horse ride thru the centre and the toboggan run at night too! Dunno about night life because as stated i was with kids but the beers we did buy were cheap! You'll love it, i would love to go back! |

Yeah but won't be long til the tennis is finished.
Fully agree though-is the most frustrating thing! At least if the skiing is off due to weather they put on old races or interviews-not the last frame of bob nobody vs jimmy hasbeen! |

Bergamo is pretty much in Milan-are you going to drive 2hrs every morning to ski?
I lived in Bormio for a season so know the road up from Milan and most of the resorts-they are fairly low i think |

I really don't want to sound bitter because Im delighted to have found someone who would accept my proposal but wedding plans and house buying plans are meaning that trips abroad will be sparse this year-hoping when Ryanair put flights on we can get a weekend in April to Bormio cheap-staying with friends.

Just on way back from xscape-was there with my pupils and tried the new Salomon bbr skis-absolutely superb so Im very happy! Scotland skiing only for me this year as off to Florida for a wedding so not got spare pennies for Italy-even livigno :-( |

The annual screening is soon-last year i seem to remember some sort of deal for tickets, has anyone heard of such a deal this year?
