Do all ski resorts have to have a blue run off the mountain?

Nah, Kate, I started off as "The Legend", was denigrated to "The Burgermeister", then "The Major". I couldn't stand the young competition, like the potential "Lady Mayoress Em"
I have had a good life in Niederau. I started off as a ski bum, then an instructor, rose in the ranks as described above. Now in the twilight of my public "N" career. Just humbly grateful that I can manage the odd run 19...... |

Whoops, no back to base blues in Niederau. Must have a word with the Mayor! ) |

Lovely skiing, Em. I like that you have smooth control! Just keep doing more of the same, some lessons, some free skiing, building ability and confidence ~ I predict a top notch skier!

Anyway, Em, good on you for mastering the Lanerkopfl!

I did use four seasons going to Munich & they were fine. Have checked up European Transfer.com, yep 65 Euro, BUT~ three and a half hour transfer time ~ leads me to believe they are probably doing a drop off around St Johann/Soll etc.

It most certainly is in Niederau, Em! To the right of the Lanerkopfl as you look up. |

Hi CB1, welcome to J2ski.
You can catch the train at Munich airport, change at Muncih Ost, and, depending on which train you are on, may go directly through to Woergl, or have one or two changes. Cost about 30 Eu each way, and a taxi up to Niederau is 15 Eu. You can use four seasons, about 50Eu to Woergl, but it drops you at the Gymnasium, and you would have to pre-arrange a taxi pick-up. A private taxi is 150 ~200 Eu. There is another low cost option if you are staying at the Hotel Staffler. |
