oh, that'll do. Well happy with the choice anyway. :D

Who's your current fav tour operator?

Andyhull
Mark Warner...last 4 bookings with them.

:!: This is a public information service, other tour operators exist. :!:

Which village?

Snapzzz, we'll be in Plagne Centre.

Not the prettiest, but I'm happy being in 'ugly' looking out to the more beautiful, than in the beautiful looking back at ugly.

Buying gifts for those left behind doesn't at all make up for leaving them behind... apparently :?: . So now I have to take the family too.

At least I no longer have to spend 30 euros on toffees in a tin shaped like a milk churn with a naff sticker of an Alps village stuck on crooked by the shop keeper, while he laughs at the stupid english man who feels guilty for leaving his kids/wife at home.

Would that be a bear in front of you or a bear behind?
Green SKi Runs

I agree with OldAndy, age is most relevant.

Took my two kids for the first time last year, at age 8 & 9. They had about 8 'Snowdome' lessons (warm & dry) in UK and then in resort with no lessons (unusual ! ).

In resort we spent only spent half-a-day on a short part of a green run, 1 day on a couple of 'nice' blues 'finding our feet', then all over resort on blues for the rest of the week.

In other words, using my approach, don't focus too much on needing many greens.

Goodness me, you all still here?

Popped in to say....just booked La Plagne....130 days to go, less than 19 weeks.

and if I get caught on here everyday 'til then, then I'll be in trouble from "she who must be obeyed".
High Wycombe's facility also burnt down, back in 2005. It has sat empty and derelict ever since.

A 'replacement' facility was given planning consent in 2008 for a 'real snow' indoor slope (120m), outdoor (300m) and ice skating. But doesn't look like it will ever go-ahead.

The site was recently put up for sale in January this year. Any takers?
