I bought a pair of walkies from a local electrical store for £15 worked just fine.
And being a big kid it is great using trucker talk. |

I had two:
My first drop. A little 10 footer which felt like a 100 footer. Scary and fun at the same time. A super fast cruiser that took me from virtually the top of Les Arcs right down to 1600. It was special for no reason other than it was a nice, fast, non-stop cruiser with a clear sky, lovely snow and hardly anyone on the piste. Amazing how relaxed you can feel going at fast speeds. Reminded me of why I love the sport so much. |

Pavelski - don't get me wrong I think the weight is great for stability but I don't think it is good for someone to use an entire trip especially if everyone else is on lighter rigs. It can really take it's toll on your legs.

I have the Rossi 9S.
Really great ski. I can't say it better than Pavelski has. One thing I would add though is that they are heavy, heavy skis. I compared the weight to my friend's snowboard and one ski plus binding weighs more than his entire rig (boots, binding, board). |

I was told yes by Sleazy Jet and Edinburgh airport. But on arrival at the airport was told by the orange fleeced woman that I couldn't. Taking a helmet was fine though.

Hello Pavel. Thank you very, very much for the offer - I have PM'd you. |

If anyone wants to lend me skis, for example a decent pair of all mountain twin tips (180-190 ish), I promise to return them. Honest.

News to me. The U supermarket place in Bourg sells them for the same price as renting them for a day from Europcar.
