That is an amazing picture Ise. I would be so proud to have taken a pic like that.

I have also just taken my BP and I think that might be the cause. Too much burning the candle at both ends, would also explain the nosebleed I had when I was last snowboarding...which was actually quite amusing as it started as I hit max speed for a long flat section, so my choice stop sort it out and walk 800m in relatively fresh snow, or bleed all over my white jacket.

Poor jacket.

Think I will see the doctor later.

Hi Tino if your blood pressure is high that can cause nose bleeds. But burning the candle at both ends and eyeing up 'The tidy barmaid' can raise the blood pressure. As for the migraine, dont go hours without eating as blood sugar levels drop and cause migraines. The newest form of medication you can buy over the counter is Imigran, used to be prescription only, but works a treat.
Myself and all of my staff and most of the customers at the moment seem to have a virus type thing, so that we have all had bad heads for about 3 weeks, just mild sore throats and coughs but a cold does not seem to come out.

tino_11 wrote:I think so. One of the things that always surprises me is the stiffness and aches i get across my shoulders after a hard day. I would never have thought there was so much upper body work involved in sliding down a hill on your feet.

Yes, I find that too, but had always assumed it was my age and the fact that I do have a dodgy neck.

RossF wrote:RoseR have you ever seen ski based gymnastics, there are a few you can try if you have solid knees.

Whilst skiing cross your legs, ie lift a ski up and but it on the wrong side, then take the other ski, and uncross it behind your body.

I often cross my legs when skiing, but I dont think I am meant too. I have been doing a lot more excercise lately, not just to get fit but to try and loosen my joints a bit. Knees and joints seem to be okay, just a bit tight.

You would attract a big crowd if you went on your board in that position. Seriously tho' I have often wondered if I would be a better boarder if I were more supple and pliable.
Is this true
