We are actually looking forward to trying some traditional Austrian food and will hopefully have an Austrian Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve but would like to have a traditional dinner i.e. Turkey on Christmas day which we would happily cook ourselves if it is available to buy. We would like Christmas to really feel like Christmas for the sake of the children in our party, if that makes sense

Can anyone tell me if restuarants in Austria (Kaprun) are open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? Also, would we be able to buy traditional christmas food in the supermarket/shops if we decide to cook our own Christmas dinner. :D

Looking at about 5 different ski schools in Kaprun but can't decide which one to book. Would it be unwise to wait until we get there bearing in mind we are going Christmas week :?:

Hello again
When I arrive in Kaprun I plan to have 2/3 days of lessons, I am a beginner, do I need a lift pass for the days that I am having lessons? Thanks |

Hi
Can anyone recommend a good ski school in Kaprun. I have been looking at Skidome Oberschneider whose rates are 144 euros for 3 days @ 4 hours per day. I think that seems very reasonable but dont want to choose price over quality, any help/advise would be appreciated Thanks |

Hi Skidaddle
Can you remember how much the train fare was because if its 19.00 euros each way per person we may still be better off hiring as there is 10 of us. Thanks |
