Anyone got snow ??

Still no snow in Sunderland, had some at the start of last week but didn't last. Been below freezing most nights so bit of ice during the day, but no deep white stuff up this end of the country. More's the pity - you seen OUR dry slope...

Pitiful compared to Sheffield, but better than nothing, and taught me the basics back in 1991...

It might be worth considering the bus, then the lift from Finkenberg - Thought about it myself once or twice when the Penken queue was ridiculous, but then again, it mightn't make much difference in the long run.

Off to Mayrhofen myself on 15th Feb, PM me if you fancy meeting up...

Fantastic.

Put me right in the mood. Got a feeling this next 5 weeks is gonna really drag by...

:(

If I can get a video camera in time, expect some shenanigans next month, hopefully the "Deserted Z-Run" idea - Krystalhutte to the valley floor with (hopefully with just US on the slopes like last time...)

Never been, apparently due to the mountainous terrain it's a pretty hairy approach.

Anyone here ever been, know a (preferably cheap) way from here to Mayrhofen or could recommend a place to hire a minibus?

Looked at the OEBB option (first class to Mayrhofen's apparently only 18 Euro's, but means farting on with waiting around in Jenbach and the flight back is around 11am on a sunday so not that feasible for getting back) Help, as always would be greatly appreciated.

According to my dad, there's another place further up beside the wood turner that is also quite cheap.
Anyone been to Mayrhofen yet...?
